Vegan chocolate Donuts
Serves 3
ingredients
110 grams of ORGRAN self-rising flour
70 grams of sugar
125 milliliters of plant milk
20 grams of cacao powder
Pinch of salt
20 milliliters of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons Bonvita chocolate spread (as a filling)
Toppings: Bonvita white chocolate and a Bonvita nougat bar
Donut moulds (8cm)
Method
-
Start by preheating the oven to 180 degree.
-
Add the plant milk and the apple cider vinegar to a bowl. Stir and let sit for a few minutes.
-
In another bowl measure out the flour, cacao powder and the salt.
-
Add the sugar to the milk mixture and mix until well combined. Sift the dry ingredients into the wet and stir until well combined again. Lastly add the oil and mix.
-
Put the mixture into the large donut shaped moulds (8cm). Bake the cakes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes.
-
When the cakes are done let them cool completely before slicing them in half. Fill the cakes with a vegan chocolate spread.
-
Lastly top the cakes with anything you like, I topped mine with melted vegan white chocolate, sprinkles and a delicious nougat bar.
